960 BC: King Solomon's death and the end of the Age of Gods. Mystery will continue to fade from this point until it is almost gone by the AD era.

The night before AD: The wielder of the First Magic is born.

0 AD: The remaining mages from the Age of Gods band together to preserve knowledge, forming the Mage's Association.

20 AD: The 5th Imaginary Element "Ether" replaces True Ether from the Age of Gods. Some mages choose to go forward with this new form of magecraft and Mystery, but those who refuse and stick to the old ways close themselves off in Atlas and the Wandering Sea. Nonetheless the three groups stick together as the Association.

20-100 AD: The Director of the Association and his associates spread magecraft and the energy/morale of the Age of Gods begins to come back. But at this same time, the Dead Apostles first appear and begin attacking mages, seeing them as an enemy.

300 AD: Zelretch vs Crimson Moon.

300-500 AD: As the Holy Church spreads in power across western Europe, the Mage's Association declines. Its capitals of learning are stomped out by the Church. The Dead Apostle Gransurg Blackmore, despairing from Crimson Moon's defeat, accepts his death at the hands of an Executor.

500 AD: The last of the True Ether, mana from the Age of Gods, located on the British Isles, disappears. The Clock Tower is established.

600-900 AD: Spirit Tomb Albion is excavated, a massive labyrinth beneath the Clock Tower that was dug by an ancient dragon and leads into the Reverse Side of the World. The Clock Tower's influence and fortune grows and more mages flock to it.

900 AD: Justeaze Lizrich von Einzbern is created. The lost Third Magic is recreated (more info on Einzbern history here).

1000 AD: The prodigy Barthomeloi arrives at the Clock Tower. The groundwork for mage aristocracy is laid.

1200 AD: The Clock Tower is the center of the mage world and its system of Lords and 12 Departments has been established.

1400 AD: Zepia Eltnam Atlasia becomes the director of Atlas. He is still leading it in the 21st century.

1600 AD: The Department of Policies separates from the others because it's no longer about academics. Policies does its own thing, there are now 11 Departments of the Clock Tower.

1800 AD: The Industrial Revolution is damaging to both the Mage's Association and the Holy Church. A divide between whether to accept the Industrial Revolution or not splits the Lords of the Clock Tower into the Democratic and Aristocratic factions which still exist today. The Department of Modern Magecraft is established, bringing the number of departments in the Clock Tower back to 12, but it does not have a Lord yet at this time because it is looked down upon.

1994 AD: Lord Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald dies in a minor ritual in backwater Japan.

2004 AD: A followup to the previous ritual begins. A rumor that the Third Magic was recreated.

2015 AD: In another timeline, humanity is incinerated.
